Lauren S. Scruggs, Harvard’s senior made history when she won two Olympics medals at the fencing tournament. Her win is historical for Harvard because she is the latest Harvardian to win at the Olympics since 1988.
And the second history making feat by Lauren S Scruggs is being the first ever female, African fencing Olympian. African woman fencing and winning. About time too. After all our women went to war. From the Agoji of Dahomey who gave the male, French army a run for their money to Queen Idia the war strategist and warrior to Queen Amina of Zaria another warrior queen. She was the general in the warfront charging at the enemies in the battle.

Anyway, added to her ancestral warrior genes, Lauren S. Scruggs is an A student of the prestigious Harvard. She is warring at an intellectual level right there. That makes her a double inspiration for girls of African descent. She confirms after her victory, that she hopes our girls realize there is no limits to games we can play even fencing.
One wonders if she was in the battle front with the Agoji women when she took down all her opponents to win the medals. You have to be strong enough to combine so many talents and use each effectively.

Finally, we have another sister to inspire us to reach beyond the skies and believe in our dreams. And strive for victory no matter what. We are proud of Lauren S. Scruggs and wish her great success in all her endeavors.

So guys what are your thoughts on this? Is she too beautiful to be a fencing queen? Do share with us in the comments section below.
